The Salvation Army Hosts Monthly Resource Fair
Tuesday, April 25th, 2023
On Friday, April 28, from 2 - 4 pm, The Salvation Army of Augusta will be hosting a resource fair with Project Refresh, Marion Barnes Resource and Referral Center, The Richmond County Marshal's Office, the Department of Public Health, and many more area agencies for those affected by or at risk of homelessness. This event, Connection to Community at the Center of Hope, is a monthly event that is free and open to the public. It will provide goods, resources, services, and casework to all in need. It will be held on the front lawn of the Center of Hope at 1384 Greene Street.
“We are excited to partner with Project Refresh and many other agencies to provide showers, self-care items, services, and goods to those in need," said Major Jonathan Raymer, Augusta Area Commander & Senior Kroc Officer. "With the help of our partners, we are truly changing lives for the better in our community."
With inflation rising and the uncertainty of a post-COVID economy, The Salvation Army is providing relief to more people than ever and needs your support.
