The Greater Augusta Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2023 Augusta Arts Awards winners.  

Artist Award - Jamie Jones

Arts Professional Award - Scott Seidl

Kath Girdler Engle Public Art Award - Cyndy Epps

Media Award - Jennie Montgomery, WJBF

Sponsor Award - Sean Mooney, Show Pony

President's Award - Pat Knox-Hudson

Nominations were submitted by the public and the finalists chosen by a panel of local arts community leaders. The Annual Augusta Arts Awards dinner will be held on June 15 at 6:00pm at The Knox Room in the Miller Theater in downtown Augusta, GA. Tickets are $90 for members or $100 for not-yet members. The event is cocktail attire and includes dinner and open bar. RSVPs are required by June 6th.

The Annual Arts Awards were established to recognize outstanding talent, exceptional initiative and leadership within Augusta’s vibrant arts community. Six awards are distributed to winners for: Arts Professional, Individual Artist, the Kath Girdler Engler Public Art Award, Media, Sponsor, and The Arts Council’s President’s Award.
