Colony Bank today announced the promotion of Alan Rabun to Vice President, Augusta Mortgage Market Leader. 

Rabun joined the Company in June 2020 as Senior Mortgage Banker. During the span of his 11-year mortgage career, Rabun has firmly established himself as a leading mortgage lender in the Augusta area. Rabun has received numerous accolades for his outstanding achievements, including the esteemed Gold Award from the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia in 2015 and 2017, Platinum awards in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2022, and the Diamond awards in 2020 and 2021. In addition, Rabun has been recognized as part of the Colony Bank Chairman's Circle for both 2021 and 2022.

As a lifelong resident of Columbia County, Rabun has deep roots in the community and actively participates in various local organizations. He and his family are members of Wesley United Methodist Church. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, the Association of the United States Army, and the Columbia County Rotary Club. Rabun also serves on the Board of the Sales and Marketing Council of the Augusta Home Builders Association.
