Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA Announces Partnership with ReSupply for Convenient Home Pick-up Service
Friday, July 7th, 2023
Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA (GIMG) announces its partnership with ReSupply, a veteran-owned and operated company, to provide a fee-based donation pickup service. Through this partnership, donors can hire ReSupply to collect gently used items from their homes and deliver them to a GIMG donation center.
"ReSupply understands the impact donations make on organizations like Goodwill. As a veteran-owned business, they share our commitment to skills training and connecting veterans to employment," said Dewayne Cuffie, Chief Mission Integration Officer of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. "Partnering with ReSupply allows us to offer donors a convenient way of giving that we cannot provide otherwise."
Most donated items collected through ReSupply will be taken to Goodwill, where proceeds from their sales fund career services, skills training, college education, and employment programs. In cases where Goodwill cannot use certain items, they will be responsibly recycled or ethically disposed of, ensuring a sustainable approach to donation management.
How It Works:
Donors can call (803) 335-5526 or visit www.goodwillworks.org and click the donation pickup button on the homepage to connect with ReSupply. Donors will then be walked through a step-by-step process of identifying the types and quantities of goods they would like picked up for donation to GIMG. ReSupply will then work with the donor to schedule a time for the pickup and with GIMG to coordinate the donation drop-off.
In addition to the home pick-up service, Goodwill continues to accept donations daily at any of its donation centers during regular business hours.
