ATC Development celebrates its 50th anniversary this year of providing exceptional apartment homes in the Southeast.

The company commemorated the achievement with a soiree at the Miller Theater on Aug. 26. The event brought together current and past team members, trade partners and business associates to honor a shared journey of milestones.

During the evening, ATC’s co-founder William Belangia and CEO Sherwood Belangia took the stage to reflect on the company's beginning and their vision for its future.

"I'm very optimistic about the future of ATC,” said Sherwood Belangia. “I really look forward to where it can go. We are well positioned in terms of talent, culture and market to really grow as a company."

ATC also took the opportunity to announce its newest initiative to invest in the future of its personnel and their families. Beginning next year, ATC will annually offer three $2,500 scholarships to eligible children and grandchildren of its employees pursuing higher education.

“I’ve learned that in order to have happy customers, we have to have happy employees first,” said Vice President of Operations Shelly Martin. “We really have a focus on the culture of the company, making sure that our employees are happy, that they enjoy where they work, because that comes out in the customer service aspect.”
