More than 140 Richmond County Students Receive National Recognition from the College Board
Thursday, October 19th, 2023
· One hundred and three students were named AP Scholars for outstanding AP exam scores and GPAs.
· Eleven of the 103 students were named AP Scholars with Honor
· Twenty-three students were named AP Scholars with Distinction
· Forty-one students received national recognitions for rural area, Black, Indigenous, and/or Latino students with exceptional scores on one or more College Board assessments (PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP exams) and a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Students at the following schools have received one or more national recognitions from the College Board:
· The Academy of Richmond County (ARC)
· A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet
· Cross Creek Comprehensive High School
· George P. Butler Comprehensive High School
· Glenn Hills Comprehensive High School
· John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School
· Lucy C. Laney Comprehensive High School
· Westside High School
