Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) holiday travelers will enjoy the sights and sounds of the season at they travel through the terminal this holiday season.

Beginning Thursday, December 15th, local talent will fill the Airport with holiday cheer. Historically these performers are located in the gate area, however, due to our Advancing.Growing.Stronger Campaign AGS has embarked on the renovation of Gates 3 & 4. Therefore all performers will be the baggage claim greeting all Augsuta arrivals.

This year’s performers will be John Hobbs, Fred Williams, Adam Thompson Harris, Matthew Dahlheimer, Bill Karp, and Josephine Johnson.

Santa will also make an appearance on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Santa will be waiting to see everyone in the main foyer of the terminal building from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

For the holiday season, the Airport will again conduct its third annual sweepstakes to win two free roundtrip tickets on American Airlines from Augusta to Washington D.C. (DCA). This sweepstakes requires registrants to apply online. The winner will be randomly selected on December 21, 2023 and will have until June 2024 to use the tickets.
