State Representative Victor Anderson Receives “Champion of Georgia’s Cities Award”

State Representative Victor Anderson received a 2026 “Champion of Georgia’s Cities Award” from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) in recognition of his support for Georgia’s cities during the 2025–2026 session of the Georgia General Assembly. The award was presented during the Demorest City Council meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
The “Champion of Georgia’s Cities Award” is presented at the end of each two-year legislative term to state legislators who have demonstrated strong support for major municipal initiatives and priorities.

GMA Governmental Outreach Specialist Katrina Cochran and Associate General Counsel Ryan Bowersox presented the award to Representative Anderson on behalf of the association.
