Queensborough National Bank & Trust loan officer Carol Brooks has been named the Small Business Lender of the Year by the Savannah Small Business Assistance Corp.

The Small Business Lender of the Year Award was based on having the largest loan volume of Small Business Administration loans for the year. Brooks also serves as the chairwoman of the SBAC Loan Committee.

"Carol Brooks has worked tirelessly over the years to help so many people realize their dreams by starting and expanding local businesses,” said Mike English, Queensborough National Bank & Trust’s Senior Vice President. “By partnering with the Small Business Assistance Corporation, she has been able to leverage the many resources they offer while drawing on the expertise of their terrific staff."

The Small Business Assistance Corp. serves Savannah and the Low Country, managing 13 loan programs sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Georgia, the USDA and the City of Savannah.
