Delta Mainline Service Returns to Augusta Regional Airport

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Tuesday, October 29th, 2024

Delta Air Lines will resume mainline service to Augusta Regional Airport on November 11, 2024.

Delta Airlines has changed several of their morning flights to larger aircraft, accommodating more passengers, and providing larger seating in first class and comfort class. Beginning in early November, three morning flights will be changed from CRJ900’s -76 passenger operated by Endeavor Air, to Boeing 717’s -110 passengers, operated by Delta Airlines.

“We are ecstatic for the reintroduction of Delta mainline service at AGS.  This represents a continued example of our growth and advancement,” said Herbert L. Judon, Jr., Airport Executive Director. “These larger airplanes will collectively add approximately 120 (or 10%) additional daily seats in our market.  Equally important, these flights provide a higher level of service, comfort, capacity, and amenity for our local customers. The new flight will operate daily at 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Please note that flight times and days are subject to change.”
