Augusta Technical College Announces Commissioner Greg Dozier as 2025 Commencement Speaker

The Augusta Technical College Board of Directors, Faculty and Staff, and the 2025 Graduating Class are honored to announce the 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 7th at the Bell Auditorium.

To be considered as a candidate for graduation, students must complete all requirements of the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and Augusta Technical College’s Board of Directors and certified by the registrar as having met all academic requirements.

This year, the College will host two ceremonies:

Ceremony 1 (9:30 AM)

  • School of Health Sciences
  • T.R. Reddy School of Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology

Ceremony 2 (1:30 PM)

  • Adult Education
  • School of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Business, Cyber and Design
  • School of Public and Professional Services

Mr. Greg Dozier, a distinguished leader in the education sector, has been selected as the Augusta Technical College 2025 Commencement Keynote Speaker. Commissioner Dozier currently serves as the 6th Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). As Commissioner, Dozier is responsible for the 22 technical colleges of TCSG and leads a team of more than 12,000 employees across the system. The commencement ceremony will feature Reverend Anthony M. Booker, Pastor of Broadway Baptist Church, as guest pastor. He will give the invocation and benediction for the ceremony.

The Augusta Technical College 2025 Commencement Ceremony will also be streamed virtually via the college’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
