A Legacy of "Firsts" and Master-Planned Excellence

• Expanding Borders: After launching its first Richmond County community (Fireside) in 1978 and its first Columbia County neighborhood (Candlewood Crossing) in 1980, the company crossed the Savannah River into Aiken County with South Meadows in 2003.

The 50th-anniversary milestone also highlights a legacy of ethics and service. A recipient of the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, Bill Beazley Homes has long been recognized for its integrity. In 2011, the Mayor of Augusta officially declared January 23 as "Bill Beazley Homes Day."

This commitment to the community is perhaps most visible through the Columbia County Foundation for Children, established in 1994 by Barbara C. Beazley, and the company's 2010 participation in ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, where they built a home for the Graham family in record time.
