Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA is excited to announce the grand reopening of its Wrightsboro Retail Training Store at 3362 Wrightsboro Road. Community members are invited to celebrate with Goodwill during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 9 a.m.

The celebration will bring together representatives from the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, Goodwill representatives and special guests to mark the reopening of the retail training store and highlight Goodwill’s continued commitment to the Wrightsboro community.

Goodwill heard from community members who wanted the Wrightsboro store to return. After previously leasing the property, Goodwill has now purchased the location, demonstrating its long-term commitment to serving the area for years to come.

“We are grateful that the Wrightsboro community made it clear how much this location matters,” said Leah Pontani, Chief Mission Officer for Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA. “By reopening the store and making a long-term investment in this property, we can continue providing a convenient place for local residents to shop and donate while supporting education, job training and career services for people throughout Augusta and the surrounding communities.”

During the ribbon-cutting celebration, guests will have an opportunity to be among the first to explore the reopened store, meet members of the Goodwill team and learn how every donation and purchase supports Goodwill’s mission of providing education, job training and career services.

The Wrightsboro Donation Center is currently open and accepting gently used clothing, household goods and other items during regular operating hours.
