Member Economic Luncheon Explores Augusta’s Economic Momentum

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce will welcome Andy Greiner, Editor of Area Development, for its upcoming Member Economic Luncheon on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Greiner will discuss the factors driving Georgia’s economic success and Augusta’s growing position as a competitive destination for business and investment.
Under the theme “Why Georgia? Why Augusta? What It Takes to Win — and Keep Winning,” Greiner will offer insight into what makes Georgia a national leader for business and the opportunities and strategies that can help Augusta continue its momentum.

His career includes leadership roles at CNN Business, NBC and YouGov, where he developed innovative content strategies and managed global teams. With a master’s degree in journalism and deep expertise in B2B marketing and digital media, Greiner serves as the fourth editor in Area Development’s nearly 60-year history.
