Columbia County Chamber Announces Speaker Lineup for Second Annual Future Forward Summit

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Economic Development Authority of Columbia County, is proud to announce the speaker lineup for its second annual Future Forward: A CSRA Development Summit. The event, presented by Columbia County and the City of Grovetown, will be held Thursday, September 10 from 9:00AM to 11:30AM at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown.

Through discussions on commercial and economic development, regional priorities, and emerging opportunities, Future Forward will bring together leaders from across the public and private sectors to talk about the strategic growth, investment, and development shaping the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).

“Future Forward gives us the chance to hear directly from the people shaping our region,” said Heath Taylor, President and CEO of the Columbia County Chamber. “The growth we’re experiencing across the CSRA creates tremendous opportunity, and understanding what’s ahead allows our business community to better prepare for and be part of that progress.”

The program will feature Conversations on Commercial & Economic Development with Ryan Martin, Associate Broker with Jordan Trotter; Megan Moye, Chief Growth Officer with Meybohm Real Estate; Jordan Collier, Managing Director of Meybohm Commercial; Cheney Eldridge, Director of Economic Development for the Development Authority of Columbia County; and Kell Anderson, SCCED, Existing Industry Director with the Western SC Economic Development Partnership.

Attendees will also hear updates and outlooks from leaders whose work is directly connected to the region’s continued growth, including Roxanne Whitaker, Mayor of the City of Harlem; Elaine Matthews, City Administrator for the City of Grovetown; Scott Johnson, County Manager for Columbia County; Nelson So, Vice President and COO of Wellstar Health System; and Jen Ryan, Regional Head of Data Center Public Affairs for Google.
