The Community Foundation for the CSRA recently announced an ambitious goal: to grant $1 million through its Community Grants Program, putting those dollars to work now to address the needs facing the region.

Today, reaching that goal is more important than ever.

Rob Johnston, a local community leader and philanthropist, has challenged the CSRA to raise $1 million for the Community Grants Program this year. When the Foundation reaches that goal, Johnston will contribute $1 million to the Community Grants endowment.

Together, the two investments have the potential to create $2 million in philanthropic impact:

$1 Million for Today. $1 Million for Tomorrow.

The $1 million raised today will allow the Community Foundation to make more grants, support more nonprofits, and respond to more needs across the region through the Community Grants Program.

The $1 million match will become part of the Community Grants endowment, adding significantly to a permanent source of funding that will continue supporting the community for generations to come.

The Community Grants Program supports nonprofits across the region that are improving quality of life through education, health and wellness, basic needs, arts and culture, and other community-focused initiatives throughout the CSRA.
