Despite recovering from the pandemic, Golden Harvest has experienced its most productive year, generating over $230,000.

Georgia Ports Mark Mega Rail Milestone

Governor Brian Kemp announced that the Georgia Ports Authority has completed and is now operating the second set of nine new rail tracks for a total of 18 tracks at its Mason Mega Rail Terminal. The expansion immediately increases intermodal capacity to and from the Port of Savannah by more than 30 percent.

Gov. Kemp: Aurubis to Open State-of-the-Art Recycling & Copper Smelting Facility in Augusta

Governor Brian Kemp announced that Aurubis, one of the leading recyclers of copper, precious metals, and non-ferrous materials worldwide, will invest $340 million in a state-of-the-art recycling and secondary smelting facility for multi-metal recycling in Augusta. This new facility will be the very first of its kind in the U.S. and will create 125 jobs in the Augusta area.
