Larry Miller, broker/owner of CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty, recently announced that  his firm, in partnership with "Citizens of Georgia Power - Plant Vogtle Chapter",  a 501-C(4) statewide employee service organization of Georgia Power, raised a whopping $34,062 at the "Golfing for Greatness" Charity Golf Tournament held August 1st at the scenic Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club, just a few minutes north of nearby North Augusta, South Carolina.

Check Presentation Ceremony to be Held at Plant Vogtle on October 13th

Identical $17,031 "big checks" will be presented to United Way of the CSRA and Easter Seals East Georgia at 11:30 A.M. on October 13th at Plant Vogtle.  Don 

Johnson (event Chair) and Larry Miller will be presenting identical $17,031.00 checks to the United Way of the CSRA representative and Easter Seals East Georgia Special Events Manager Brenda Floyd on behalf of Citizens of Georgia Power and CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty, respectively.  Also in attendance from Citizens of Georgia Power will be: Randy Johnson, Executive sponsor of  Plant Vogtle’s United Way campaign; Whit May – Committee Member; and Bob Brinkman – President Citizens of Georgia Power, Plant Vogtle Chapter. 

Special guests from Georgia Power include tournament volunteers  Jeff  Wilson, Mike McCracken, and Ashley Key. Special guests from CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty and the CSRA HOMECONNECTIONS Program include Dawn Human, Katie King May, Mary Lou Miller,  and Bert Dean. 

All board members from both recipient organizations have also been invited to attend the ceremony.

Exact  Event Location at Plant Vogtle

Please meet at the North Entrance (building is labeled this way) of the Vogtle Support Center between 11:00 A.M. and 11:15 A.M. on October 13^th.  This is the first building on the right as you pull in the Vogtle 1&2 entrance road.  The entrance road is at the intersection of River Road and Ebenezer Church Road (7821 River Road, Waynesboro, GA  30830).  It will take between 45 and 60 minutes to get to Plant Vogtle from Columbia County. 

Because this is a nuclear site, there are a number of items that are restricted: guns (even with a carry permit), any and all other weapons, drugs, alcohol (empty containers), etc.
