On October 16^th the North Augusta Chamber will host its first half-day women’s conference, as part of the Women In Business Series. The conference will feature keynote presentation: The Power of Pearls. Jane Herlong, best-selling author and Miss South Carolina 1979 will use her pearl analogy; cultured, uncultured and seed pearls to empower women to handle business and personal challenges with grace and a sense of humor. The conference will also feature Solve It – mini breakout sessions and Pitch It – how to perfect your elevator speech. Attendees can browse the booths of several local vendors at the vendors showcase. Brunch will be provided by Berry’s Catering & Floral.
