She went to college with an eye towards a career in medicine. Then she took a few business courses to pad her resume' for medical school admissions applications---and fell in love with the business world.

Today, she is still operating, but not on sick or injured patients. Amanda Joye Clements is "operating" the super-successful C&C Automotive West Augusta location as its manager.

"Amanda has always had a mind of her own---a very smart mind---and a lot of drive and discipline," smiles her proud father, Aaron Clements, who owns both C&C Automotive locations. "So it didn't really surprise my father or me when she expressed a desire to launch and run our first expansion effort. And she has done an amazing job from day one."
