The faculty and staff of Helms College, Augusta Campus, will welcome prospective students to tour their facilities during open house set for Thursday, Aug. 27.

The open house will take place from 4-6 p.m. at the Helms College campus, 3145 Washington Road at Fury’s Ferry Road. Prospective students and their families are invited to tour the campus, meet instructors, and talk to representatives from admissions and financial aid for information about enrollment.

Helms College provides diploma and associate degree programs in culinary arts. These programs are nationally accredited and eligible for Title IV funding and VA education benefits, with financial aid available for those who qualify. Enrollment is underway for the next classes, which start Oct. 12. Helms College is a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, with additional campuses in Macon.
