IRONMAN and UnitedHeathcare bring the 1st IRONKIDS to Augusta. The kid's fun run will be held September 26, the Saturday before the IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta. The race will start at The Augusta Convention Center, located at 901 Reynolds Street.

The one-mile and quarter-mile IRONKIDS is a fun run giving kids the opportunity to race like their parents while also getting the community involved in a healthy lifestyle.

“IRONKIDS is a great opportunity for the local youth to feel the excitement of completion while bringing a family friendly atmosphere to race weekend," said Mandy Irizarry, Athlete Development Coordinator for IRONKIDS.

The race entry is $15 and is geared towards kids between the ages of 3-14 and is also open to adaptive athletes.
