CSRA United Way to Host Campaign Kickoff

United Way of the CSRA will kick-off its fundraising campaign this year at Bell Auditorium on Monday, August 24, at 12 Noon.   The event is being sponsored by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, American Family Insurance, Southern Nuclear Operating Company,  Georgia Power, MAU Workforce Solutions, and University Health Care System.  United Way invites the community to be a part of this exciting event.

The theme for this year’s Kickoff will be “Western Roundup”.  This should be a fun event for everyone and one that guests will not want to miss.  United Way will be announcing the campaign goal for 2015.  Marc Dufour, President/CEO of Club Car, LLC, will speak on “Why United Way”; and Rick Allen of Serotta Maddocks Evans & Company, CPAs, will introduce United Way’s new Planned Giving and Endowment program.  Entertainment will be provided by Rhythm and Class Dance Studio. 

United Way’s Campaign Kickoff is a combined civic club luncheon with participation from local groups including Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs, as well as local business and community leaders.  The program will begin at 12:00 noon and will end promptly at 1:30 p.m.  The cost of the luncheon is $30/person or $240/table of eight.   Tables are filling up fast, so please register online at uwcsra.org or call United Way at (706) 724-5544 to reserve your seat(s) today.
