The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia County News-Times will sponsor a Candidates Forum for the GA House District 122 and the Columbia County Commission District 3 seats on Tuesday, September 29.

The Forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Theater at the Columbia County Library in Evans.

It is free and open to the public.

Each candidate will have two minutes to make an opening statement. Steve Crawford, publisher of the News-Times, and Ed Burr, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, will each ask the candidates questions. Answers will be limited to two minutes.

The candidates will have two minutes to make closing statements.

The Commission candidates will be first, followed by the House candidates.

If time allows, written questions from the audience may be asked.

House 122 candidates are: Pat Goodwin, Jodi Lott, Joe Mullins and Mack Taylor.

Commission District 3 candidates are: Jim Bartley, Gregory Grzybowski, Gary Richardson, Frank Spears and Russell Wilder.
