Commission Deadlocked on Compliance Director Hire

Filling a position required by the Consolidation Act is proving tough for the Augusta Commission.
The commission is deadlocked between two of three finalists for the position, which has the working title of “compliance director” but will oversee equal employment opportunity and disadvantaged business issues, as someone is required to do by the act.
