Augusta Incubator Among Georgia Upstarts in Hub Magazine

The Technology Association of Georgia, one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently showcased The Augusta University Life Sciences Business Development Center in the Health & Wellness Innovation issue of Hub Magazine.
 
The LSBDC, along with three other Health IT Accelerators from Alpharetta and Atlanta were profiled in the magazine’s Georgia Upstarts section:
 
-Emergence: A Medical Business Accelerator for local Georgia-based MedTech companies located in Alpharetta, GA
 
-Forge: A Healthcare Startup workplace in Atlanta that is a joint venture of Emory University School of Medicine, The Wallace H. Coulter Foundation , Georgia Tech VentureLab and Edelman.
 
-NeuroLaunch: The world’s first neuroscience startup accelerator located in Midtown Atlanta
 
Georgia Upstarts is a regular feature that serves as a showcase for new startups and innovators from around the state. Hub Magazine is a publication of TAG which maintains a presence in the Augusta area via its TAG Greater Augusta Chapter.
 
The LSBDC is a biotech incubator located on the Health Sciences Campus of Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regents University) in Augusta, GA. The incubator houses 5 entrepreneurial businesses in the life sciences, which can range from bioinformatics and genomics to medical devices and diagnostics.
