Last Call for Tickets for TEDxAugusta 2016 on Friday, January 29th

Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Friday, January 22nd, 2016

TEDxAugusta 2016 is coming next week and this is your last chance for tickets.

Event attendees will get the opportunity to hear both local and national speakers—12 in all—give the “talk of their lives” in just 18 minutes or less. All talks are centered around this year’s theme of Autonomy, and all are designed to make you think and question the world around you.

The daylong event is Friday, January 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Imperial Theatre in historic downtown Augusta. Lunch from area food trucks is included, along with creative breaks featuring spoken-word poetry by Beech Islander Nathan Ivey, alternative/fusion music by Stink Bamboo and live scribing by editorial cartoonist Rick McKee.

General admission tickets are $85 and can be purchased at http://tedxaugusta.com. Tickets are $70 for military/students/seniors, and group tickets are also available (10 for $650). VIP tickets will be $110 and will include reserved seating and a ticket to the after party. Patron tickets are $250 and will include reserved seating, the after party and a mention in the TEDxAugusta program. Ticketholders will all receive a signature TEDxAugusta t-shirt and other goodies.
