Wednesday, January 6th, 2016
Due to the cold weather conditions, The Salvation Army of Augusta is implementing a special inclement weather plan for the Center of Hope shelter. We will put out overflow mats and allow in extra people seeking shelter until the mats are full. The normal policy regarding limit of stays per month will be lifted tonight.
The Salvation Army of Augusta is asking for monetary contributions and other donations to help shelter the homeless during the cold weather. Donate online at www.SalvationArmyAugusta.org, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or to The Salvation Army, 1384 Greene St, Augusta, GA 30901.
