The Southern Economic Development Council, the oldest and largest regional economic development association in North America, is pleased to announce Scott Poag, ‎Project Manager at Augusta Economic Development Authority in Augusta, Georgia as the alternate state director of Georgia on the SEDC Board of Directors. The alternate state director will serve a one-year term on SEDC's board. Mr. Poag will take the seat on January 1, 2016. Scott is a dedicated long-time SEDC member for almost 3 years. He was choosen for this position by his peers within his state of Georgia.
