USTA Georgia Announces Augusta to Host Tennis Tournaments

The United States Tennis Association Georgia has selected CSRA Tennis Association to host the 2016 (August 12-15) and 2017 State Mixed Doubles Championship Tournament.
This event has long been recognized as the premier State Championship in Georgia, typically including about 900 tennis players from across the state. Tournament matches will be played at Newman Tennis Center, Petersburg Racquet Club, Riverview park and other public and private courts in Richmond and Columbia Counties. The Direct Economic Impact to the local area; including hotels, restaurants and shopping, is estimated to be $800,000 for each event.
