Cabela’s will celebrate the beginning of the spring by hosting Captain’s Weekend 2016 on February 27th and 28th at our Augusta store, encouraging outdoorsmen and women to shift their focus from winter to spring adventures. Among the activities will be seminars, demonstrations and workshops for the entire family. Cabela’s will offer a full schedule of complimentary workshops and in-store demonstrations including:  
 
· Safety on the Water - 11:00 am Saturday
· Sonar Eyes Below – 12:00 pm Saturday
· Fishing Knives and Tools – 1:00 pm Saturday
· Spring Fishing Basic Hook-Ups – 2:00 pm Saturday
· Gear Up With Cabela’s Guidewear – 11:00 am Sunday
· European Short Line Nymphing – 12:00 pm Sunday
· Beginner Bass and Striper Fishing – 1:00 pm Sunday
· Trolling for Motors – 2:00 pm Sunday
 
We will also have local Cabela’s Pro Staff in the store both days.

Caught up in the excitement will be local charter boat Captains who will be in store presenting tips and  answering questions, as well as Project Healing Waters, a fly fishing group dedicated to improving the lives of wounded warriors through fly tying, casting, and fishing. Also in the store will be the CSRA Fly Fishing group, the Augusta Canal Authority, and The Coast Guard Flotilla.
