The Bass Federation to Host 2016 Student Angler Federation Georgia High School State Championship March 13th

The Bass Federation, in partnership with Fishing League Worldwide is pleased to host, for the second year, the 2016 Student Angler Federation Georgia High School State Championship on Sunday, March 13 at Wildwood Park located at 3780 Dogwood Lane Appling, Georgia. Take off is at 7:30 a.m. and the weigh in will begin at 3:30 p.m.

The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. There is an option for one member of each team to be a 7th or 8th grader if the team chooses. Teams can pre-register online for the State Championship Tournament at HighSchoolFishing.org or pay a $25 late registration fee for onsite registration. Registration is on Saturday, March 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Cabela’s located at 833 Cabela Drive in Augusta, Georgia. There will be a rules briefing immediately following registration. Both anglers and their coach who will be providing the boat they will compete from need to be in attendance.

The top 10% of each 2016 State Championship will advance to a FLW/TBF Conference Regional Championship and the top 10% from those conference events will advance to the FLW/TBF High School National Championship.
