Regions Bank and Greenbrier High School to bring Back the Regions Border Classic Soccer Invitational

Regions Bank and Greenbrier High School, as lead sponsor and GHSA host high school, are pleased to bring back the Regions Border Classic Soccer Invitational for the second year. This competitive high school varsity soccer tournament will be held March 17-19, 2016 at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Georgia, site of the Division II National Championship and the Peach Belt Conference Championship tournament.

There are twenty high school boys teams, sixteen high school girls teams and four D-1 women's college teams competing in the tournament, representing schools from five states.

"We are extremely excited that our inaugural year was such a success and look forward to this tournament growing both in stature and prestige. We are already pulling in top teams from Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina," said Tony Cummings, Boys Soccer Head Coach at Greenbriar High School. "It is just the right mixture of local teams and out-of-town teams, providing a unique environment with the local fans providing excitement which the out-of-town teams love."

The Regions Border Classic will include teams from divisions GHSA, SCHSL, NCHSAA, GISA, SCISA, NCISAA, AHSAA.
