Regions Bank has named Russ Morgan Market President for Augusta and Aiken.       

“Russ has a proven record in commercial, small business and retail banking,” said David Smith, Business Banking Executive for Georgia and South Carolina.  “He is an accomplished banker, well recognized for his talent and commitment to serving customers in both business and the community.”

Smith added, “The CSRA is a strong market for Regions, and Russ will provide the management presence and leadership necessary to continue our growth and expand our tradition of community leadership, excellent customer service, and sound banking practices.”

Morgan brings over thirteen years of extensive banking experience to his new role, all of which has been at Regions as a credit analyst and credit officer before advancing to serve commercial and business banking clients in the Augusta market.  Morgan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina at Aiken.           

Russ is very active in the community serving on boards for the CSRA Local Development Corporation, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is a past board member of The Family YMCA.  He currently serves on the Executive Leadership Team of the American Heart Association.  He is a member of the Columbia County Government Affairs Committee, the Leadership Columbia County Steering Committee and the Rotary Club of Augusta.  He is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Columbia County.
