Columbia County Chamber Chamber Post Legislative Breakfast Announced for May 10th

The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Commissioner Gretchen Corbin, Technical College System of Georgia, will be the keynote speaker for the Post Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.  This event will be held at Savannah Rapids Pavilion.  A full southern breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 am, immediately followed by the program at 8:00 am. 

Commissioner Corbin began her term as the new Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia in January 2015, following the retirement of TCSG Commissioner Ron Jackson.  Previously, she was the Commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs, a position she held since 2013.  Prior to that, she served as the deputy commissioner for global commerce at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where she worked in a wide variety of roles.

The Post Legislative Breakfast will also feature a panel discussion with State Senate and House Representatives from Columbia County.  Representatives currently scheduled to attend are: Senator Jesse Stone, Senator Bill Jackson, Representative Barry Fleming, Representative Tom McCall, and Representative Jodi Lott.
