On May 4, 2016 the Augusta Commission received an updated report from consultants regarding the Master Plan. The presentation, http://planaugustaparks.com/pdf/augusta-master-plan-draft-report-presentation.pdf, highlighted the progress made to date on the plan and included recommendations derived from surveys, park inspections, stake holder meetings, staff and other input.  In the ninety-four slide PowerPoint you can see the vision for community recreation in Augusta, review the results of the surveys, look at user preference charts, see how respondents wish to spend the funding and see the specific recommendations made by the consulting team. The last few slides will show you the proposed improvements and our path forward.
 
Between now and July 5th 2016 they would like to receive your feedback on the Master Plan. Please take a few minutes to review the Master Plan and then share your thoughts and comments on the presented information.  Once you have done this, please let a friend now about the comment period so they can get good feedback during this open period.
