More than 50 employers will be recruiting to fill a number of openings at a career expo in Augusta on Thursday, June 23.

The Georgia Department of Labor and the Greater Augusta Employer Committee will co-sponsor the expo. It will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Augusta Christenberry Fieldhouse located at 3109 Wrightsboro Rd.

Employers who have already registered for the expo are Accustaff, AFLAC, Amerigroup, Augusta Georgia Government, Augusta Massage, August Staffing, Augusta University, Breneau University, Career Personel, CSRA Economic Opportunity Authority, FPL Foods, Juice Plus, Kudzu Staffing, Miller-Motte College, PSSI, Sitel, Southern Wesleyan University, Spherion, Sprint and Telepformance. Additional employers are expected to attend.

Employers will be filling current job openings and discussing future opportunities. Other organizations will provide educational resources.

Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
