The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce has announced that Keith Aiken, an Employment Coordinator for Austin Industrial, Inc. has been chosen as the Ambassador of the second quarter in 2016.
 
Ambassador of the Quarter is received by an individual in recognition of their dedication to the Council and Chamber overall. This individual is someone who shows commitment to the Chamber’s mission to assist its members with business development, promotion of economic growth and bringing awareness to the North Augusta Community.
Aiken has served on the Ambassador’s Council since October 2015. This council serves to act as a liaison between the Chamber staff, board, and membership while actively pursuing the growth of membership, promoting chamber benefits, members and community events.
 
“Being an Ambassador is a great way to support an organization that believes in community enrichment, “said Aiken.
 
Aiken is a native of Hardeeville, South Carolina. He’s a retired Staff Sergeant with a 12-year career with the Army. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from DeVry University. Aiken is married and resides in Evans, Ga.
 
Aiken represents chamber member, Austin Industrial, a general contractor (100% employee owned), providing in-petro chemical, gas and oil manufacturing. Aiken has been employed with Austin Industrial since March 2015 and his responsibilities include recruitment and human resources.
