The Salvation Army of Augusta will hold our summer auto auction on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Center of Hope, 1384 Greene Street with Auto Auction Preview Days on July 12, 13, and 14 from 8 am to 6 pm. Customers are encouraged to visit the auction yard during the three Preview Days, at which time they can view the inventory, look under the hood, and start the vehicles. There is a $5 fee to register for the auction.

The auction has 65 cars, boats, RV’s, jet-skis and even a limo that will be sold on Saturday July 16th Auto Auction. The Feature Car for this auction is a very nice 2014 Honda Accord. The auction also includes a 2000 Volkswagen Cabrio convertible, 2001Toyota Highlander, Cherokee Camper, and a 1994 Cadillac Limousine.

The summer Auto Auction is an important source of funding for The Salvation Army of Augusta, as it provides much needed revenue to our Center of Hope programs: Soup Kitchen, homeless shelter for men, women and children and our substance abuse rehabilitation program. During the hot summer months, we have seen an increase in the number of homeless seeking services.
