Augusta Tech Will Host the Robert Gordon University "Roadshow"

Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Thursday, September 1st, 2016

The Technical College System of Georgia signed articulation agreements with Robert Gordon University in Scotland for direct entry to 1-year BSc degree completion programs for qualified graduates of TCSG computer science-related associate degrees. This expands the similar agreement signed last fall with the Aberdeen Business School for selected business-related degrees.

In July, RGU hosted a summer school coordinated by Central Georgia, but open to all TCSG students, for International Business Principles and Humanities. In 2017, they plan to add Computer Science & Digital Media and Business Creativity.  To assist in these efforts, Augusta Technical College and RGU are conducting a “Road Show” to promote the partnership with TCSG and the international study opportunities for Augusta Tech students.

On September 12, 2016, Augusta Tech will host three visitors from RGU in Scotland:

1. Renee Raper, Head of Global Partnerships (Academic and Corporate), Aberdeen Business School

2. Dr. John Isaacs, Lecturer in Computing, Course Leader in Computer Science and Application Software Development Professor

3. Rita Marcella, Dean of Aberdeen Business School
