The area’s first Food Truck Fest is happening this Saturday, September 24th at the Columbia County Amphitheater behind the Columbia County Library.

Nine food trucks will be serving their best fare: Café 209, Brain Freeze, Dolce Darlin’, JDore Fruit, Lamb’s Bread Vegan Café, Country Boys Fish & Grits, Wicked Good Bites, Wondra’s Pie House, and Cedars of Lebanon. Guests of the festival will also enjoy musical performances by BullMoose, Village Sticks, The Dulcimer Guy, and Shantelle Wheeler.

The CSRA Food Truck Fest, the first of its kind in the CSRA, is a project of love by organizer Ciara Gordon. Gordon, who is planning the event in memory of her grandmother, plans to donate the proceeds of the event to Golden Harvest Food Bank.

Tickets for the festival are $10, and can be purchased from the event’s website, www.csrafoodtruckfest.com. The CSRA Food Truck Fest will run from 12-6 on Saturday.
