The tours will consist of four plants, Macuch Steel, RBW Logistics, Kellogg, and Textron Specialized Vehicles.

The purpose of the tours is to get the AWP members face to face with the Human Resource Department of these companies and assist with employment opportunities. Many local retired military are seeking employment, and the tour will provide opportunities for retirees to meet face-to-face with local HR offices.

Jonathan Davis, Existing Industry Coordinator for the Augusta Economic Development Authority, said, “Our local industries are constantly seeking workers with a great worth ethic and skill potential. Our Existing Industry Program encourages local companies to expand, and the Augusta Warrior Project can assist with the companies’ expansion plants.”
