New Startup Company Upliff Launches with a Mission to Inspire

Upliff, a new startup company in the Aiken-Augusta area, launched recently and is on a mission to change the world by uncovering the good that life brings while changing the negative view on life many people have come to accept. Upliff provides an online platform for sharing only positive content, and people are encouraged to visit www.upliff.com to read and share the stories featured on the site.
Upliff comes from the word “uplift,” meaning to morally or spiritually elevate and inspire happiness or hope. The company began as an idea Jonathan Larry, Founder and CEO, had as a result of seeing an overwhelming amount of negative content featured in the news and social media over the years. With war, crime, and division constantly being the big stories, people and organizations making a positive difference in the world often get overlooked. He wanted to fill this gap in the media market for positive content.
“I’m excited about this new venture and look forward to sharing stories of people and organizations making a positive difference in their community and beyond,” Larry said. “At upliff.com, you can find those stories as well as motivational content. Our overall goal is to get people to see and share the positive things in life and focus less on the negativity in our world today.”
Great stories are sometimes featured in the last few minutes of newscasts and can be hard to find online, especially when it comes to national news networks. Social media has become a place where division and bullying happen too often. Upliff acts as a counterbalance to this by being the place to share something good.
Jonathan added, “If you know of someone or an organization doing good work in the community, we want to hear about it. It could be featured on Upliff.”
