Augusta Regional Airport is pleased to provide both the public travelers, as well as, the private travelers with art from local area artists which highlight the beautiful artistry of the CSRA!

The Augusta Regional Airport’s Art Committee selected several local artists to have their work on display in both the Airports’ commercial terminal and private, General Aviation, terminal building.  The artists selected range from iron workers to photographers, egg decorators to painters.

Five artists were selected to have their three-dimensional work on display at the Airports’ General Aviation Terminal for one year. These artists highlight their artistic abilities by working with metals, models, and eggs! Jed Menger, Tony Carr, and Wesley Stewart all work with metals to create unique and one of a kind sculptures. Mike Teffeteller showcases the beauty in the architecture of CSRA landmarks in 3-D models. Ms. Karen McPhee uses bird eggs as canvases for portraits and depictions.

Three photographers were also selected to be on display in the gate area of the main terminal building for one quarter. The beauty of Augusta and the sounding area were captured by artists; Joy Mason, Gerald Josey, and Mike Braswell. Their photos will be on display from October 1st – December 31st.
