Daniel Field Dedication to Celebrate Hangar Door Restoration

What: The Augusta Commission and Daniel Field General Aviation Commission will host a dedication event, to the citizens of Augusta-Richmond County, and in celebration of recently completed restoration of the airport’s historical doors. The $1 million project was funded entirely by the Transportation Investment Act.

Guest speakers will include Gov. Nathan Deal, Mayor Hardie Davis Jr., Lee Langley, VP and Associate Executive Director of LifeLink Foundation, Inc., and Don Grantham, District 12 State Transportation Board Member. The event will be emceed by Brad Means, News Anchor for WJBF-TV. Refreshments will be served prior to the dedication.

When: October 26, 2016, 12 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Where: Daniel Field Airport at the South end of the Terminal Hangar; 1775 Highland Avenue, Augusta, Ga.
