Small Business Saturday is November 26th: Get up, Get out, and Shop Small
Wednesday, November 16th, 2016
The Augusta Metro Chamber is celebrating Small Business Saturday on November 26 in recognition of and in support of the small businesses in the greater Augusta region that enrich our community and provide economic growth. By shopping small, you can play an important role in sustaining your local economy.
Small Business Saturday also provides an opportunity to honor the small business owners and celebrate the hardworking entrepreneurs that are fueling our local economy. The Augusta Metro Chamber is encouraging the public to shop small by visiting some of the local, participating businesses: Palm Village Augusta, Salon Duo, House of the Bride, Buona Caffe, Ladybug’s Flowers & Gifts, Lanier’s Meat Market, Summerville Scoops, Village Deli, The Swank Company and Purely Painted Market.
Mark your calendars and plan to get up, get out, and shop small on Saturday, November 26. Show your support on social media by posting your best selfie with the shop owners and/or employees. Be sure to tag the business, #shopsmall and the Chamber! (@AugustaMetroChamber on Facebook, and @Augusta_Chamber on Twitter & Instagram).
Are you a small business interested in participating? Join in the day and have your business listed as a participating location. The shop with the best photo will be recognized on December 6 at the Chamber's Member Economic Luncheon, which annually celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship.
