5th Annual Augusta SantaCon Charity Pub Crawl Decks Out Downtown on Friday, December 9th

Come decked out in your best holiday costume and enjoy holiday cheer, free cover, music and more to benefit a local charity during the 5th annual SantaCon charity pub crawl, Friday, December 9th in downtown Augusta.

Festivities kick off at 4 p.m., and the Santa Bash after-party begins at Sky City at 11 p.m. The pub crawl also features a costume contest, so come ready show off your best Santa, elf, snowman, reindeer or other Christmas character.

This year, money will again be raised for the Clubhou.se in order to sponsor S.T.E.M scholarships. Last year, participants helped raised $7,800 to help local children benefit from science, technology, engineering and math education. Previous recipients of the charity event include Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta.

Tickets are $15 and are on sale now at www.eventbrite.com (search for 2016 SantaCon Augusta, or go directly to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2016-santacon-augusta-tickets-29280245001?aff=es2). Tickets will also be available for purchase at the check-in area located outside Metro Coffee House, 1054 Broad St., on the day of the event. Santa hats are available for an additional $5, and early bird and military discounts are available. Entry fee includes free cover, drink specials, wristband, koozie (to first 200) and entry to the after-party.
