December Member Economic Luncheon to Feature 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award & Keynote Speaker to Focus on “The Tech Sector”

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce will host the final Member Economic Luncheon of the year on Tuesday, December 6 at the Augusta Marriott.  The luncheon begins at 11:30 am and will feature the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year Award. 

The Chamber, along with Georgia Bank & Trust, is pleased to honor the small business success of an individual in the CSRA region who embodies the Entrepreneurial Spirit of innovation, success and community engagement.

Keynote speaker Larry Williams, President and CEO of the Technology Association of Georgia, the nation's largest state technology trade association, will discuss “The Tech Sector: How to attract and grow what everybody wants”.  Williams was most recently the President and CEO of The Beacon Council, and previously helped shape the vision for Atlanta's tech sector as the Vice President of Technology Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber.  

The December Member Economic Luncheon is presented by Augusta University, along with Augusta Magazine, Augusta Riverfront Center, LLC, and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions.  Media sponsors include: News 12 NBC 26, and The Augusta Chronicle.
