New Executive Director for Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer's Care Named

Jennifer Pennington is the new Executive Director for the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care in Augusta, GA.
“Jennifer brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, skills, ideas and enthusiasm to the job” said Alan Griffin, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care. “A goal of the Board is to expand the facility and services, and we feel Jennifer is the right person to help the Board meet this goal.”
Pennington has over 17 years of management experience in the non-profit sector, with most of her prior experience with the American Red Cross in Athens, GA and Augusta, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998.
Pennington’s involvement in the community has been extensive. Pennington has volunteered with many organizations to include Athens Chamber of Commerce and Women in Business Council, the Junior League of Athens and Augusta, the Girls Scouts, and the Athens and Augusta Rotary Clubs. Pennington is the current President of the Rotary Club of Augusta.

Hickey Center to meet the needs of individuals and families coping with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease.” said Pennington. Pennington, her husband, daughter, and son have lived in the Augusta area for the past six years.
