The Technology Association of Georgia Greater Augusta Chapter, in partnership with ATDC, TheClubhou.se, and TAG Health are happy to announce eight Health startup companies presenting at its 2017 Health Tech Startup Expo. Individuals from start-ups, growth-stage companies, hospitals, clinics, and practices which are developing new technologies or uses for technology applied for the Health Startup Innovation Award.

AppVizo, LLC

AppVizo, LLC is an employee-owned technology company located in downtown Augusta, Georgia, with a team comprised of the “special forces” of software development. A large part of software development is not necessarily the development itself, but the creativity involved in figuring out a solution and knowing how to use the technology to implement the solution. Our company was officially created in 2013, but we have collective experience in various industries including research and financial institution compliance. Our specialties include integration, data migration, and content management.

BasePath LLC

BasePath LLC has created a software platform that layers onto legacy HIT and permits healthcare app development by non-technical users, such as doctors, to optimize usability. The apps are data-driven, share structured data and rules, and use standard web technologies to support analytics. BasePath™ supports additional functionalities permitting alternative revenue streams, improving HIT affordability. BasePath™ initially targets HIT, but the technology is flexible and can support similar needs in other industries, such as education and process engineering.

CORSTRATA connects certified wound care nurses using an HIPAA-compliant mobile app for photography, synchronous video, and data capture to manage patients with complex chronic wounds producing better wound care and healing, improving patient quality of life, and reducing overall cost.

CheMedImmune is a biotechnology company working in the field of drug discovery of novel anticancer drugs. At CheMidImmune, Iryna Lebedyava is developing novel drug candidates for cancer immunotherapy.

SAI Digital is a software company dead set on destroying information silos within healthcare. They have created MedCred, a suite of applications working across the organization to credential, place, onboard, evaluate, and engage with healthcare students and employees.
